As President and CEO of Detroit’s Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO), Linda has spearheaded groundbreaking models that redefine how we serve the most vulnerable among us— garnering recognition from Forbes, Fortune, and national policy circles alike. A fierce advocate for whole-person care and systemic change, she has held leadership roles across the healthcare spectrum, giving her an unmatched perspective on the human condition and the systems meant to heal it.
Linda’s impact goes far beyond boardrooms and hospital walls. She is the lead author of a globally published textbook chapter on the nurse’s role in accountable care, has penned op-eds and essays for major publications, self-published her own book and regularly speaks at local and national forums on healthcare, equity, and child protection. In 2025, she launched the powerful #DontTouchMe campaign—a survivor-led movement calling for global reform in how we respond to child abuse. Linda is also the host of The Silent Majority podcast, giving voice to untold stories and driving public discourse on issues often kept in the shadows. Her work combines lived experience, clinical expertise, and strategic brilliance to inspire action, ignite hope, and lead change. Linda received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing from University of Detroit Mercy; Master’s in Business Administration from Wayne State University. Additionally, she has received post-graduate certificates from Harvard Business School, Northwestern Kellogg School of Business, and University of Michigan Medical School. To recognize her career accomplishments, Linda has received numerous awards and recognition including the Spirit Award for Distinguished Alumni from the University of Detroit Mercy, Crain’s Healthcare Hero - 2024, Top 100 Most Influential Women-Crain’s Detroit Business - 2023, and Liberty Bell Award from the Detroit Bar Association - 2022.
