Nurturing Future Generations Through Leadership and Action

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the NSO Youth Initiatives Project is to provide youth leadership and advocacy training focused on gun violence and substance abuse prevention.

Training and technical assistance provides youth leaders the skills they need to plan and organize activities that promote non-violence and substance abuse prevention. The program is designed to encourage youth activism as a means of improving the capacity of neighborhood and community organizations. Services are provided through a community based and school based process.
