Join us on an NSO Discovery Tour
NSO has been reaching out to individuals to improve their lives for more than 50 years. We would not be here today if it were not for people like you, who believe in what we do. So please join us for any one of our upcoming NSO Discovery Tours. This one-hour presentation will highlight the positive outcomes and accomplishments of NSO programs and services. It is a fun and exciting way to give a succinct overview of exactly what we do and how we do it.
The Discovery Tours are taking place at NSO's Central Office in the Michigan Building, located at 220 Bagley, Suite 1200 in downtown Detroit.

2008 NSO 5K Detriot RiverRun & Walk
NSO's second annual Detroit RiverRun & Walk will take place on September 6, 2008. Last year's event was a tremendous success and we want your help to build on last year's achievement and keep the momentum moving forward by making this year's 5K Detroit RiverRun & Walk even bigger and better. Sponsor the 2008 NSO 5K Detroit RiverRun & Walk
Neighborhood Service Organization's second annual 5K Detroit RiverRun & Walk is taking place Saturday, September 6, 2008 along the beautiful Detroit River on the famed Detroit RiverWalk. The 5K (three-mile) run/walk will raise money for NSO's programs and services. The proceeds from the run/walk will be used to support many of the area's underserved individuals. We are asking you to support this event by becoming a sponsor, or by joining us as a Corporate Team at the RiverRun & Walk.
Sponsorships play an important role in the success of any event. We have enclosed an NSO Insider newsletter that highlights last year's RiverRun & Walk and features many of NSO exciting new initiatives and program services. We have also included a sponsorship package for you to review that provides an overview of each of the opportunities available. As a sponsor, your support will allow NSO to carry out its mission and the funds you provide will make a difference in the lives of many people and families throughout southeastern Michigan.

Donate Goods and Services
NSO provides a variety of ways to get involved. Many people choose to volunteer and contribute their time, while others prefer to donate goods and services.
Helping others
Gifts of goods and services (in-kind gifts) are always apperciated. You can help us surpass out fundraising goal by donating your organization's services and products. Donating goods and services is also an excellent way to help NSO immediately meet the needs of the consumers we serve.
What do we accept?
We accept clean items of clothing, appliances in good working order, gently used furniture, toiletries, non-prescription reading glasses, etc.
