5470 Chene St.
Detroit, Michigan 48211
No one will be turned away until we have met their needs
NSO's Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) provides an array of drug-free substance abuse prevention and treatment services for individuals and families. Individuals with addiction to gambling, alcohol, heroin, cocaine and other drugs are treated on an outpatient basis. As an approved continuing education provider through the Association of Social Work Boards, NSO offers training to professionals working in the field of substance abuse treatment and prevention service.
NSO's Addiction Treatment Services provides a re-entry program for Michigan prisoners transitioning back into the community. The primary goal of the Michigan Prisoner Re-entry Initiative (MPRI) is to promote public safety by increasing the success rates of prisoners transitioning from prison to the community. The vision of MPRI is that every prisoner released from prison will have the tools needed to succeed in the community.
NSO Addiction Treatment Services also works with the Wayne County Drug Court, providing an alternative to jail for non-violent offenders through group therapy sessions where relapse prevention skills are taught.
